TEACHERS DAY

Amidst the vibrant chaos of Ela Green School’s Teacher’s Day celebration, students delivered the perfect ode to nostalgia. It was a scene straight out of the ’90s, with the iconic songs echoing through the air, a time when cassette tapes, Illayaraja’s melodies, rain-soaked afternoons, and piping-hot bajjis defined our days. With a satirical wit they portrayed the idiosyncrasies of our beloved teachers.
The games and activities gave the students a glimpse into the challenges of being a teacher. For once, they got to experience firsthand how much effort it takes to keep everyone engaged. How often do you see furrowed brows and exhausted expressions on a teacher’s face? They juggle through the day, facing a barrage of “whys” and “whats” with unflinching patience.
So, as we celebrated Teachers’ Day at Ela Green, let us remember that our teachers strive hard, not for applause or recognition, but simply to see those 32 teeth of their students smiling wide.
