We hereby promise that in the event your body succumbs to a food coma following the Gourmet Fest, we won’t administer CPR. We’ll let you and your taste buds continue your world tour of flavors without any interruptions.

The highly anticipated day, Ela’s gourmet fest, once again set records for creating core memories. Our only concern was figuring out which detergent soap could handle the gravy splatter aftermath. Parents, students, and teachers alike made a beeline for the classrooms, ready for another round of their favorite dishes.

The fest featured food from every continent, an ingredient for the dipping sauce in one classroom could be the star of the show as the main course in another. A slice of meat would taste either spicy or tangy depending on which classroom you were in. This is just one example of the diversity and culture that was overflowing with love and respect so, let’s not have a cold afterthought to such a piping-hot feast of celebration and instead think beyond our taste buds and potbellies about how to sprinkle a little global-mindedness into our everyday lives!
